Monuments Care is a Crowdfunding project through which the association Succede solo a Bologna works towards an important goal: caring for touristic sites and monuments within the city and province of Bologna.
All donations and proceeds from the Monuments Care project will be reinvested in the maintenance and restoration of city monuments.
As early as 2016, our association has been involved in “Io Sostengo San Petronio”, a fundraising project with the goal of completing interior and exterior restoration works on the Basilica of San Petronio.
The 12-month project (January 2016 – January 2017) was successfully completed with the collection of 206,165 euros, exceeding the original goal of 200,000 euros.
HOW IS ALL THIS POSSIBLE?
Through the management and/or coordination of certain sites, as well as organizing and creating guided itineraries and tours that promote the monument under restoration, demonstrating its beauty, history, and quirks.
