STANDS
About 200 stands will be positioned along the entire route that leads from the Meloncello to the Sanctuary of San Luca to make the walk even more entertaining.
- 40 food stands
- 100 creative stands
- 10 associations
- 30 music and art stands
The stands will be managed by: Associazione Crea Artisti (creative stands), Appennino Slow (food area), M.M (lounge area), CSI (sports area), 3T (motor area)
SHOW
San Lócca Day is an event with many initiatives. During the day, along the portico leading from the Meloncello to the Basilica, numerous artists will perform one after the other. There will also be musical entertainment provided by the event’s official radio station, Radio Bruno.
SPORTS AREA
San Lócca Day doesn’t forget the importance of physical activity for a fun and healthy lifestyle. This is why visitors will have the opportunity to keep in shape along the route, thanks to various sports activities managed by the CSI.
MISSION
San Lócca Day is an event for all ages, created by the Succede solo a Bologna Association to promote the rediscovery of the portico of San Luca.
This experience is further brightened by various activities, such as games, gastronomic routes, local curiosities, sports, and music, all in the name of fun.

Every year, through a charity, the Association dedicates the event to a project within the theme of territorial preservation:
- 2014 fundraiser to renovate the Portico of San Luca
- 2015 fundraiser to renovate the Fountain of Neptune
- 2016 fundraiser to renovate the Basilica of San Petronio, (the “Io Sostengo San Petronio” project)
- 2017 fundraiser for maintenance of the Sanctuary of San Luca
- 2018 rfundraiser for maintenance of the Sanctuary of San Luca and restoration of the famous “Colonna di San Procolo”
- 2019 fundraiser for maintenance projects managed by “Monuments Care“
This year the event will be dedicated to the Teatro Mazzacorati 1763
